About a month ago, we were just saying how nice it would be for Abigail to be able to ride her tricycle by herself. Then 2 days later, she did it!!
Colin and I gave her a tricycle last Christmas. We thought she would be on it nonstop. She seemed to really like it at first, but then lost interest. We brought it back out this summer and really worked with her on pedaling. We kept saying "pedal forward" while physically moving her feet. Abigail, however, was quite content to just ride while we pushed her around, even going as far as to put her feet up on the handle bars! Funny girl!!
Then one day after her nap, she got on her tricycle and started pedaling. Not just a few feet. She was moving and moving fast!! Now, she's riding like a pro, flying around corners. It feels like she is growing up so incredibly fast recently. Such a big girl!!
When Abigail sets her mind to a task, she masters it pretty quickly!
