More Birthday Celebrations!

We had such a fun weekend! We spent lots and lots of time with family, which we love! On Saturday morning we FINALLY went apple picking!! It's something Colin and I have wanted to do FOREVER! It seems like every year we try to go, but something comes up or the weather is bad.

So this year we were all set. The weather was going to be on the chillier side, but tolerable. (One of us put on layer upon layer!!) I called the orchard several times the week before to make sure they would still have apples to pick because it is the end of the apple picking season. We packed a picnic and were getting ready to walk out the door and I decided to check their website one more time...the orchard was closed!!! What?!? They had just decided to close that day. We were bummed!! BUT.... thankfully there was another orchard nearby that was still open and had plenty of apples to pick.

It was sooo much fun!! We did not take any pictures, unfortunately, but trust us...it was awesome!! Abigail loved being able to pick an apple off the tree and eat it. Such a fun trip and we can't wait to do it again next year! I think we'll try to go a little earlier in the season!!

Then, after Abigail's nap we headed over to Nana and G-dad's to celebrate Colin and my dad's birthdays. Pat, Courtney and all of the kiddos came. We had such a nice time!! Abigail absolutely loved it. She's now at that age when she can really play with them and interact. It is just the cutest to watch!!
