Feels Like Spring!!!

Meme, Granddad and Auntie Anna came up to celebrate Christmas early this past weekend. We had such a great time! We spent lots of time outside thanks to the record breaking warm temperatures. I will say it felt very strange opening presents while it was almost 70 degrees outside! And by strange I mean GLORIOUS!!!

After a quick bite to eat, we headed out to Burke Lake (a park that backs to our neighborhood). We brought some bread to feed the duckies.

After we fed the duckies, we decided to head to the playground. As soon as we got there, Abigail made a beeline for the swings. Both of the babies swings were occupied and we could tell Abigail was not a happy camper. She kept walking right in front of the swings and pointing to them. The father of the two children on the swings kindly told them that it was Abigail's turn to swing. Thank goodness! Was she that obvious?!?

I think Abigail could seriously swing all day. She is just so happy and relaxed when she is swinging. In fact, Meme noticed Abigail starting to dose off!!!

After we pried Abigail away from the swing, we took her over to the slides. Of course our little daredevil loved those as well. As soon as she would slide down, Colin couldn't get her back up quick enough. Silly girl:)

We came back to the house so Abigail could nap and recharge her batteries while all the adults did the same:) When Abigail woke up from her nap, Auntie Anna was there! Yay! We all exchanged presents. We're not sure what Abigail thinks of all this just yet:)

Awww...Abigail is giving some lovin to the bear Uncle Jay got he. Poor Uncle Jay couldn't make it because he was sick:( We missed you, Uncle Jay!!!

After presents, we had some yummy dinner followed by cake to celebrate Meme's birthday!
