Happy Labor Day!!

We have had an awesome weekend! It has been so relaxing and filled with lots of fun and family time. Our favorite! The weather was perfect. Sunny...not too hot....just right!

We started off the weekend at the farmer's market (which we love) and then we headed to the pool for some swimming and a picnic. The rest of the day we spent playing and watching football!!! It was the first Saturday of college football!! Yay!!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE football in this house so we were pumped!

Later we  grilled up some yummy food....fajitas...wahoo! Abigail was actually the one that requested that we grill. She loves it!! Quite the little chef!! Abigail is not exactly a big fan of meat, but she has recently started eating chicken. She seems to really enjoy chicken salad. Always nice to expand her repertoire!

Sunday we went to church (another successful trip although Abigail caught a cold:( ) and then headed to the playground and then another evening of grilling. Burgers...mmmmm!

Monday we made chocolate chip pancakes (my favorite!!!). We tried a new recipe and made them with coconut flour. The were delicious!! What goes better than a full tummy of chocolate chip pancakes?!? The pool!! This was the last day the pool was open so we had to make the most of it. We brought another picnic per request of Abadabs. Girl loves eating outside!!

It was just the perfect weekend. We are, of course, so sad that Daddy is back at work now:-( At least it's only a 4 day week!! We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!! Happy Labor Day!!!
