| So angelic:-) |
The biggest event this month was our trip to Charleston. We all just had the best time. Abigail is quite the little water baby. She loves to look at the pictures of the trip and reminisce about the things we did while we were there. She has the best memory of any child I have ever met. While we were in Charleston, there were these glass fish bowls that Abigail adored. We told her that she was allowed to look, but not allowed to touch. So EVERY morning since we have been home, Abigail does her little fishy sign and then waves her finger saying "No no no" (which is what we did). I guess that's why she has a big ol noggin...gotta have a big brain to store all of this stuff!!!
Abigail is talking more and more every day. It is so sweet to listen to that adorable, little voice of hers. Some of the things she says can be understood by anyone and others.....only a daddy or mommy would know:-) Abigail tries to repeat a lot of the words you say. The cutest one recently was "tickle," in which she said it and proceeded to tickle herself. So funny!
Abigail is obsessed with fish and helicopters. She wants to see them ALL.THE.TIME. and she asks you to draw them constantly. We have a cute little chalk aquarium in our driveway. Good thing we get to start all over when it rains:-)
Abigail is still not a huge eater. Believe it or not, she has actually slowed down on her cheese consumption. Can you believe it??? She is finally at that stage when she understands that if she does not eat some of the foods we have specifically asked her to, then she does not get anything after dinner...aka dessert. We do not eat dessert every night, but our little sweet tooth certainly does not want to miss out on any treats given!!!
Abigail has been sleeping great! We literally walk her upstairs, sing Jesus Loves Me about two times and then put her in her crib awake, give her kisses and walk away. It has only taken about a year and a half, by hey, we are here!!! Yay!!!
Happy 22 Months, sweet baby girl! You are such a cutie pie. Your Mommy and Daddy just love you to pieces! xoxo
G-dad and I also LOVE YOU to pieces, our precious granddaughter!!!!!
