Our Return To Church...Sort Of

We go to a wonderful church literally two seconds away from our house. We love it. We had to take a break pre and post heart surgery, but we were excited to make our triumphant return several weeks ago. We have tried to leave Abigail in the nursery MANY times, only to be paged because she was melting down. Pre surgery, we just brought her into service with us. She was young enough to entertain in her seat. Now....we can picture her joining the minister on stage and "helping" with his sermon. Haha Back to the nursery she goes.
Abigail and all of her bows:-)
The first time, Abigail did pretty well. She made it about half way through the service before we were paged. This past Sunday, we only had time to grab a coffee and head into the service before our pager was going off. Back to the nursery I went. I stayed about 15 minutes, in which she made sure she had a hand on me at all times! The second she was distracted, I was back out the door. Only to be paged about 2 minutes later. We could hear her screaming from WAY down the hall:(

Abigail reminds me SOOO much of my oldest niece, Rebekah. Pat and Courtney were just telling me how people in their church used to take bets on how long Rebekah would last in the nursery before they were called to come get her. Haha And Rebekah is just the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful teenager (what?!?) I have ever met, so if Abigail wants to be like her cousin Rebekah...so be it:-)

We'll just keep trying:-)
