Happy 3rd Birthday, Sweet Boy!!!!

Our sweet boy is 3!!!! Can you believe it?!? Colby is such an incredibly sweet and gentle natured little boy. He brings so much love and laughter into our family and we can't imagine our lives without this little guy💙💙💙

At 3, Colby weighs________ and is 3ft tall!!! We go to the doctor in a week so we'll update then. We did measure him though and Colby grew an inch and a half in 6 months! Colby has always been on the shorter side, but lately Colin and I have both commented how Colby looks like he has grown. His pants are getting shorter and we went up a size. Goodbye 18 month pants hello 2T!!😉

Must be all of that healthy food😉

Colby is a pretty easy going little guy. He loves loves loves to play outside. Colby is very warm natured like his daddy except when it comes to snow. Colby will play outside in 2 degree weather but if it's snowing....not so much. We'll get Colby all ready to go (which all parents know takes about an hour😰)….he'll step outside, throw a snowball or two and then he's back in. We're guessing it's bc he's so uncomfortable with all of the layers of clothing???

But.....if it is not snowing and Colby is outside....one of his favorite thing to do is dig in the dirt for wormies. He, of course, loves to play on all different types of  playgrounds. He loves sand....We enjoy meeting up with our other friends at the playground....most of the time the kids are older than Colby...but Colby just fits right in and plays along with whatever everyone is doing.

Speaking of playing along.....Colby's imagination has grown tremendously within the last couple of months. He loves to imagine with Abigail while playing "baby" or "kitchen"....it's so cute!!! The two of them have really started playing together by themselves a ton for the past several months. It's so sweet!! Colby adores his Abigail more than anything in the whole wide world. The typically get along so well although right now they are in the "You are driving me nuts no matter what you do!!!" phase and it is, in turn, driving Colin and I nuts!!!😩 Hopefully this is a quick phase!!!

Colby started preschool this year!! He started November 1st. He started off very timid, but is really enjoying it now! He comes home with all of these tidbits of information....it is so cute!!!

 Colby is a super happy little boy. He loves making other people laugh. Colby is a total snug bug too💙 He still loves to suck his thumb and twirls his hair. As soon as one of us picks him up from preschool, he puts that thumb in his mouth and puts his head on our shoulder.....it's the best💚

Colby loves doggies!! He loves to watch them from our front door and he asks to pet every doggie that walks by!! Colby also loves to play with cars, play dough, sand....all of the fun stuff!!

We love you so so so so much, sweet boy!! You are so precious to us.
