Happy 10 Months, Sweet Baby Boy!!

Our baby boy is growing up!! And way too fast at that!! Our Colbykins is just the sweetest boy ever! He has the best, most loving personality. Words cannot express how much we love our Colby!!This little boy has our heart<3

At 10 months, Colby weighs a little over 19lbs (he was 19lb 2 oz last week at the cardiologist). Colby is in 6 and 9 month clothing and size 3 diapers. At 10 months, Abigail weighed about 15lbs and wore 6 month clothes and size 1-2 diapers.

Colby is our little troublemaker! Turn your back for 2 seconds and he will start heading towards something he knows he shouldn't have (ie electric cords!!). Sometimes we'll be in the kitchen and Colby will sneak away oh so quietly and start making a beeline for Colin's office, land of cords!! As soon as we see him heading that way, we'll call for him in which at that time he picks up the pace! When we finally catch him he is all giggles, thinking he is quite the funny man! Little sinker!

Colby loves to climb and pull himself up on EVERYTHING!! We have several ladders in the house for Abigail to reach the counter, wash her hands...so Colby just helps himself up on the ladder and everything on the counter he can reach! Colby has become quite fast at the stairs too!

Colby loves to play! He is SO good at playing by himself too! I think it's a second kid thing?? Don't get me wrong, he loves for us to entertain him but he can also entertain himself, which is very nice! Colby's favorites are the cars (like his wonderful daddy!!), anything musical and now he loves anything where he can stand up and play. It's so cute to watch!

Colby is still completely obsessed with his wonderful sister, Abigail! We are too:-) The two of them get along SO well together. Well...most of the time! They love to wrestle and chase each other. Colby finds her completely hysterical. Colin and I love to watch the two of them play together<3 Abigail is so good with him! She is such a big help with her baby brother!

Colby "talks" a lot! He babbles much of the day. He'll say mama (and actually mean it!) occasionally and he can now do the dadada bababa sounds! Very cute to listen to! Colby's new thing is to squeal like a pig if he wants something or if we won't let him have something. It has definitely turned some heads when we're out in public!

Colby is a great eater! He is willing to try anything! Colby's favorite is our morning smoothie (frozen bananas, peanut butter, almond milk and spinach). He LOVES it! He'll cry if you try and take it away from him and he's not done:-( He also loves all of the veggie and fruit pouches. He likes peanut butter sandwiches and grilled cheese for lunch. He just tried oranges and loved them too. I recently made a spaghetti meat sauce and put it over spaghetti squash and he gobbled it up! We've never seen him eat so much!

Ahhh sleep. It's definitely getting better but still a work in progress. Colby goes down awake (phew!) but now we're just trying to get him to put himself back asleep in the middle of the night. Colby will do it sometimes, but other times he just rocks back and forth on his hands and knees or he'll stand up.  Sleep or no sleep, he's one cute little boy<3

Colby is the biggest cuddle bug. He LOVES to snuggle and we do too so it works well:-)
