Happy 9 Months, Sweet Baby Boy!!!

Happy 9 months, Colbykins!! This little guy...words cannot express what he means to us. He is just the sweetest, most adorable, cuddliest, precious...just the best little guy! Colby has the sweetest disposition. He is just a joy to be around! One look at that precious little face and our hearts melt<3

 At 9 months, Colby weighs 18lbs 13.5oz (36th percentile) and is 27.25 inches tall (11th percentile) and his beautiful noggin is 18 inches (72nd percentile. Slacking for our kiddos haha!). Colby is still in 6 month clothing and size 3 diapers. We don't think it will be too much longer before he's in 9 month clothes. Our short little Colbykins<3 At 9 months, Abigail weighed 15lbs exactly. Abigail wore 6 month clothing and size 1 diapers. When we look at Abigail and Colby now, we don't really think they look alike, but looking back on these pictures it's crazy how much they resemble one another!!

Colby ADORES his big sister!! Still, whenever Abigail walks into a room...Colby instantly smiles! Colin and I love watching the two of them play together! They love to chase each other around the house, play peek-a-boo, wrestle....it's the cutest thing ever!! Hearing that hysterical cackle from the two of them is just the best sound<3

 Colby has grown up SOOO much this month! Colby is a crawling machine and he is pulling himself up on anything and everything!! He is soo quick!! You have to keep an eye on that little man because he will get into trouble before you can blink an eye!! Outlets, cords, little pieces of floor "trash" are no match for this little guy. He will find it and immediately put it in his mouth! Nothing is safe in this house! We are cleaning the floors constantly!! If you look at the pictures, you'll see some of them with the 9 month sticker and some without...that's because this cutie tried to eat the sticker and we had to remove it!!

Colby is starting to understand the words yes and no. Doesn't mean he will always listen though!! We can see Colby starting to head for the computer cord and we'll tell him no and he'll shake his head no all the way over to the computer! Little stinker!! He's now starting to answer some questions with a nod of his head. The other day I asked him if he was tired and he nodded yes and then when I asked him if he wanted to go inside he nodded no. Crazy!! 

Colby babbles a lot. He says "mamamama" numerous times throughout the day. The other day he was reaching out for me to hold him and he said "ma" while looking at me. Not sure if he was truly saying my name, but it still made my heart melt<3

Colby has also started waving hello and goodbye. He waves with his cute, little cubby hand facing towards him just like Abigail used to do! Love it!!!

Colby is a snuggle bug. He loves loves loves to be held, in our lap or snuggled up against us. It is just the best!! Our favorite is when one of us is sitting on the floor and he crawls over to us, climbs up in our lap and puts his cute ole thumb in his mouth and snuggles. Love love love<3

Colby loves cars a lot, just like his wonderful daddy! He also loves musical toys, books, rings, balls, his jumperoo, squating....active little boy!!

Colby is a very good eater. He wants anything and everything you are eating!! He goes nuts if you eat something and do not give him any! Colby is willing to try pretty much anything. He recently tried pizza and loved ! This month Colby also tried bread with apple butter, cream cheese, cheerios, grilled cheese...hmmmm....I'm sure there are more that I am forgetting!!

Sleep this month has been a little choppy. He was doing great and then we went away (the other month) so that messed with his sleep. Then daylight savings, then a cold....he's still getting over this cold so his sleep has been pretty rough but we're hoping we can get him back on track!!

We love you more than you will ever know, sweet little Colbykins!! You are so precious to us and we just love you to pieces!! Happy 9 months, little man!!!
