Happy 8 Months, Colbykins!!

Where in the world is time going?!? How can it be??? 8 months already?!? Colby is the most precious little guy ever and we just love him to pieces!!!

At 8 months, we are guessing Colby weighs about 18lbs. (We don't have a weight check until next month.) Colby is still in 6 month clothes and size 3 diapers. We don't think it will be too much longer until he moves up to 9 month clothes. At 8 months, our sweet Abigail weighed 14 lbs 6oz (7th percentile) and wore 6 months clothing and size 1 diapers.

  Colby has such a sweet disposition. He really is such a good boy. We just look at his face and melt. And that smile...so adorable! Especially now with that dimple those little toothies...which by the way seems like he is getting a new one every week!! We could just eat him up!!

Colby is starting to crawl!! Eekkk!! He's been rocking back and forth for a while, but now he's starting to move and groove. Time to put up the gates and lock everything down!! Definitely not joking here....this little guy sticks anything and everything in his mouth!! Exhibit A....mmmmm....8 month sticker!!

Colby is still obsessed with his big sister. He wants to be right around her all the time. His face lights up as soon as he sees her. The two of them are so cute together. We love to see them wrestle and play together. Recently Colby has been loving the playground, especially the slide. He likes to go down the slide by himself on his belly. We put him up at the top and he pushes off so he slides down! Abigail and Colby like to race! It's sooo cute!! Love watching them intentionally play together!

Colby still loves his jumperoo. He is a jumping bean!! Anyone who has ever held Colby knows that he is continually jumping/doing squats when you hold him with his feet on the ground. It's hilarious! Quite the workout!

Colby sleeps pretty well. We had a little bit of difficulty during/after our Charleston trip and Richmond trip, but all and all he does great. He still takes 2 1 hour morning naps and about an hour and a half in the afternoon. At night, he sleeps from 8:30-6:00/6:30 and typically gets up 1-2 times. Not too bad! We'll take it! Definitely dreading daylight savings time though!!

Colby is a total snuggle bug and loves to be held and cuddled. We just love it when we pick him up and he puts that thumb in his mouth and puts his head down on our shoulder....makes me melt just thinking about it.
