Swim Lessons

Abigail had her first swim lesson last Tuesday! It's a small group lesson of 5 children. They meet once a week for 6 weeks (and then we continue to the next level if we choose to do so). It did not exactly go as planned. She cried hysterically the whole time:-( Parents are not supposed to be in the same room. We wait in the room right by the pool that has a large one sided window (we can see her, but she can't see us). It was so sad to watch her cry:-(It took everything in me not to go and scoop her up and tell her she didn't have to stay. I didn't (did I mention I REALLY wanted to?!?) and she finished the lesson. We both survived!! It felt so good to hug our little girl!! I took her to Dunkin Donuts afterwards. I think that helped to ease some of the pain! ;-)

We were worried that this was the end of swim lessons for her, but we've been talking about her swim lessons A LOT and she seems excited and ready to go tomorrow. I must admit I'm a little nervous!!!
