Mornings With My Abigail

Every morning when Colby takes nap, Abigail and I have our special time together (and Daddy joins when he's home on the weekends!! Yay!!). Some days we have to do some chores/cleaning, some days we bake (ok...lots of days we bake!!) and some days we just play. I always try to make sure that the days we are playing out number the "get stuff done" days. Which means if you come to our house, I apologize in advance for the mess. The maid has been slacking!! Haha

One morning, I surprised Abigail with a card. Inside it told her how much I love her and asked her if she wanted to play with Play Doh while we watch Adele sing live in concert. (They played this special sometime around Christmas and she has been asking to watch it again ever since. Thankfully they just replayed it!) I wish you could have seen her face. Abigail was giggling like it was Christmas. She kept hugging my leg and telling me thank you over and over again<3

For those of you who don't know, Adele is Abigail's favorite artist. She runs around singing Adele all the time! We had so much fun spending time together and belting out Adele:-) It was so simple, but it meant so much to Abigail. And to me. I love my time I get to spend with Abigail. She is so precious and so much fun to be around. I think we both will cherish the memories from that day<3

Of course Abigail had to get her microphone to sing along:-)
