We love listening to this little girl talk (and we do ALL. DAY. LONG!!!). Abigail has the cutest little voice that we want to bottle up. The questions.....oh the questions!! They don't stop! It is just so fun to hear what is going on in that precious little head of hers. Abigail is constantly thinking and processing what is going on. You can almost see the wheels turning. She really pays attention to her surroundings and is likely to repeat or ask questions even days after something has happened. It forces Colin and I to really watch we say around her! Ha!
One of our favorite things Abigail has started repeating is part of the blessing. Before every meal, we say grace. We don't say the same thing every time. It's whatever is on our mind and/or heart, but at the end we always say "Bless this food, help it nourish our bodies. In Jesus name we pray. Amen." Abigail now starts off the blessing for us and after her part she always says "Bless this food, help it nourish our bodies. In Jesus name we pray. Amen." But it sounds a little more like "Bless nourish bodies. Jesusnamepray. Amen." All slurred together. We can't listen to our sweet little girl say the blessing without a big smile on our face.
We love you, sweet baby girl!! You are such a huge help and blessing to our family!! xoxo
Abigail is so bright...she asks the meaning of a word in your sentence if she doesn't understand what you are talking about!! Hope you are saving up for Law School or Med School Daddy!!!!
