Working Girl:-)
I asked Abigail what she was doing and she said "Working. Gotta make that money man!" That's what Colin tells her. Too funny.

Good Night:-)
Every night now, Abigail asks us to tell her about all of the fun
things we have done that day. It's a sweet tradition Colin did as a little
boy<3 So we will all talk about all of the fun things we did
(We did this, this and this,...) and then Abigail will say "And here we
are now." I don't know why, but it cracks us up. Maybe it's the way she
says it?!? She just sounds so grown up. Seriously, when did Abigail
grow up?!? When we talk to her, it's like talking to a teenager!

Meme's Visit!
We were all SO excited for Meme to come and stay with us!! Abigail was so giddy with excitement. It was the cutest!! We love it when Meme comes! She is so much fun to spend time with and she is such a HUGE help.
We didn't want her time to come to an end. Abigail didn't want to let her go (and pretty much didn't!!). She said Granddad could get a new Meme so she could stay with us<3 Thank you so much for coming to see us Meme and all of your help!! We love you!!

Blessing
We love listening to this little girl talk (and we do ALL. DAY. LONG!!!). Abigail has the cutest little voice that we want to bottle up. The questions.....oh the questions!! They don't stop! It is just so fun to hear what is going on in that precious little head of hers. Abigail is constantly thinking and processing what is going on. You can almost see the wheels turning. She really pays attention to her surroundings and is likely to repeat or ask questions even days after something has happened. It forces Colin and I to really watch we say around her! Ha!
One of our favorite things Abigail has started repeating is part of the blessing. Before every meal, we say grace. We don't say the same thing every time. It's whatever is on our mind and/or heart, but at the end we always say "Bless this food, help it nourish our bodies. In Jesus name we pray. Amen." Abigail now starts off the blessing for us and after her part she always says "Bless this food, help it nourish our bodies. In Jesus name we pray. Amen." But it sounds a little more like "Bless nourish bodies. Jesusnamepray. Amen." All slurred together. We can't listen to our sweet little girl say the blessing without a big smile on our face.
We love you, sweet baby girl!! You are such a huge help and blessing to our family!! xoxo

Happy 2 Months, Sweet Baby Boy!!
Our big boy is 2 months!! Yay!! This little boy (ok...not so little!!!) is such a huge blessing to our family!
At 2 months, Colby weighs 12lbs (46th percentile) and is 22.25 inches tall (18th percentile). His beautiful noggin is 15.5 inches, putting him in the 62nd percentile. Pretty low for our kiddos haha! Colby can still fit into newborn clothing, but only half of his newborn clothing fits. Crazy how different sizes are depending on brands. It seems as though every day we are putting another outfit into the "Does Not Fit" bin even though it fit just fine the week before! We are starting to primarily put him in 0-3 month clothes. Colby is now in size 1 diapers. Diapers...oh my....we go through TONS!! We don't remember going through so many with Abigail!! And I'm happy to say, we are getting peed on less and less! haha! I totally just jinxed us, didn't I?!?
Colby is such a sweet boy. His face just melts our heart. And now that he is smiling....awwww....we can't get enough!!
Colby has quite the personality. We joke that he is high maintenance, just like his precious sister! Haha. Colby loves to be up in the mix. Don't even think about putting him down away from the action! And don't think about doing the same thing for a prolonged period of time. Got to keep it moving!!
Colby is really enjoying being outside and seeing the different surroundings. We are all really enjoying the days of warmer temperatures and are looking forward to spending more and more time outside.
Colby seems to be hot natured, like his wonderful daddy. Sometimes if he is fussy, we take all of his clothes off and put him under the fan. Crazy kid! haha! Didn't get that from me! Although I will say that I have been much warmer recently due to the adorable 12lb weight I carry around much of the day!
Colby is not the best sleeper. Colby takes about 4 naps a day: 2 short and 2 long. Some days he does great and will take lengthy naps and go down easily. Other days....it takes us longer to get him down than he'll actually nap that is IF you can get him down in the first place! Ha! And then there are those "special" days where we spend more time trying to get Colby than doing anything else! We know every parent can relate! At night, sleep has been rough. I mean...really rough. It sometimes starts off ok and Colby makes it 3 hours before the next feed, but after that...it's all down hill. The past several nights, Colby has been getting up every 20-60 minutes. All. Night. Long. Ugh. Colby has acid reflux really bad and the doctor thinks that it may be contributing to his sleeping habits. We're trying some dietary changes on my part and possibly some medication so hopefully something helps! Fingers crossed!!
Colby loves baths!! Anything that involves being naked haha! He can stay in there forever! And Abigail loves to help so it's a fun activity for all involved!
Happy 2 months, baby boy!! You are so precious to us!! We love you SO SO SO much!!
Here's a side by side of our two precious bambinos. At two months, Abigail weighed just over 9lbs and (less than 5th percentile) and was 21.65 inches long
(9th percentile). Big difference between our two cuties!!

G-dad To The Rescue!
Like most girls, I babysat ALL of the time when I was a teenager. One time, I was babysitting a three year old and a 6 month old and the 6 month old was crying A LOT! I could not get him to calm down so I called my dad and asked him to come over. Once my dad got there, the little boy immediately quieted down. Phew!
Our sweet Colby has also been known to fuss a time or two (I know....hard to believe:-)) So...when Colby is has a rough day, we pass him off to G-dad! Colby loves his G-dad:-)
