Gingerbread House Time!!

We decided to make our annual gingerbread house this past weekend. Such a fun activity with kids! Abigail was begging and begging to make it. She loves art activities, especially if they involve candy!

Nana got us one of those fancy ones from Michael's. It did not exactly go as planned. Apparently Colin and I aren't crafty enough to put it together. We were left with several broken gingerbread pieces and a pastry bag full of frosting that exploded everywhere. Good times.

On to Plan B....back to basics...milk cartons and graham crackers! That we can handle!! Not exactly a Picasso, but we had a good time. We're just thankful we had enough candy to put on the house after our little sugar monster got a hold of some (ok a lot!!) of it!
