Mornings With Daddy
Every weekday morning, Colin and I get Abigail up at 8:00 and then the three of us snuggle in our bed for a little while (one of my favorite times of the day!). Then we all head downstairs. Colin and Abigail go into the playroom to drink milk, eat cereal and read LOTS of books, while I go into the kitchen to fix breakfast. Abigail cherishes this time with her daddy. Some mornings, she just can't get enough reading with her dear father and she brings him a book to read to her right before he heads out the door. I love watching the two of them together. So sweet! We are already ready for it to be the weekend so we can have him back home with us! We miss you, Daddy!!!

So special to see how life comes full circle...Colin's Mom and Dad used to read to him, and he turned out to be a wonderful young man!! A love of reading is a great trait to have....
ReplyDeleteNana and G-dad also read to Abigail's Mommy every night as well when she was a little girl! Her Mommy still loves to read, just like her Daddy! I have no doubt that Abigail will always love to read!!!!!
