Toy Rotation

Most kids have too many toys. So much so that they typically take over the house. We started experiencing that several months ago with all of Abigail's "stuff." I believe it was Courtney that said they do a rotation with my nieces' and nephews' toys. (Right, Courtney???) They box up some of their kids' toys and then, every so often, they swap out the old ones with some new ones. Brilliant!!!

We got started right away. We boxed up a bunch of Abigail's toys and then, the 1st of every month, we rotate her toys. I'm telling you, it's like Christmas every month. Toys that were once old and boring are now new and exciting again. She always gets this look on her face like "Hey!!! Where have you been old friend?!? I've missed you!!!!"

It's such a great idea. It's also great for parents. I think we, too, get sick of playing with the same old toys over and over again. We love this idea! We know Abigail's a fan:-)
