First Day of School

 First day of school 2021!!! The kiddos are back in person!! First time since March 2021! Eeeeekkkk!!! Abigail is such a big girl and is in 3rd grade. Colby is in kindergarten. Can you believe it?!? So many mixed emotions. 

Colby was a little nervous when he woke up. Probably just a fear of the unknown. My hubby was amazing was juggling and doing other tricks to make Colby laugh. It worked like a charm and helped to calm his nerves. Colby was all smiles by the time the bus came.

Colby has Abigail's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Belcher. We love her!! Abigail has Mrs. Sherman. She lives in our neighborhood. She is amazing! So thankful to have incredible teachers this year!!

This is the first year both kiddos have been in school. Colin and I took full advantage of this "free" babysitting and went to Reston. We walked along the trails, enjoyed some delicious lattes and bagels, walked around the Town Center...it was amazing. Don't get me wrong...we missed the kids, BUT...it certainly was nice to have some adult time too:-)

Both kiddos had an awesome first day! We thought they would come off of the bus exhausted, but they both were full of energy and excitement!! So thankful for a wonderful first day of school!

Great Country Farms

 We went to Great Country Farms for the first time. It was so fun! We really wanted to go peach picking before the season ended, but we also wanted to have lots of fun since this was the last weekend before school started. Great Country Farms was the perfect mix of both! They had animals, lots of playgrounds, a wagon ride and fruit picking. It was so fun!

Weekend Away

Colin and I snuck away for a few days and went to Hillbrook Inn, which is a quaint bed and breakfast near Harper's Ferry. We had the best time. We went hiking a bunch, enjoyed delicious meals, went to a winery...basically lots and lots of fun, relaxation and time just soaking each other in. It was perfect💗

Final Lake Trip

We had so much fun at the lake this weekend! Nan and Geed are moving to Naples, Florida full time so this might have been our last trip. So sad!! We certainly are going to miss the lake!! So many fun memories made there!

Mommy Daughter Date

  Absolutely love our mommy daughter dates! I always enjoy special time with my girl💓 On this date, we got pedicures and delicious lemon bundt cakes. We always have the best time together. I'm going to miss this sweet girl when she goes to school!!😭

All Tuckered Out

 We had so much fun staying at the pool with friends until it closed. We ordered pizza and the kids swam and swam! It was a blast! Colby came home and crashed!! Now that's a sign of a good day💙
