Celebrating Mother's Day
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. My wonderful hubby and sweet kiddos spoiled me. We had a very yummy big breakfast filled with 3 different kinds of pancakes: chocolate chip, blueberry and cinnamon roll. Mmmmmm!!!
Then the kiddos gave me their adorable homemade cards (so cute!!), flowers (beautiful) and one of my favs...lottery tickets!! Colin picked out 6. Abigail asked to scratch off two. So there we were scratching off tickets...mommy came out with a big ole goose egg while both of Abigail's tickets won!! $20 on one ticket and $2 on the next! I know who is scratching my tickets from here on out!
It was kind of a yucky day weather wise (seems like the first rainy Mother's Day we've had in years!) so Colin took the kiddos upstairs to take a bath while I got to relax and watch Food Network! Ahhhhh!!!! Loved it!!
After the bath, we braved the gloomy weather and headed out to Frying Pan Park to see some animals and play on the playground.
We came back and had a delicious Mexican lunch, took naps and then headed back to a playground. It was such a fun and special day! I love my family so so much and appreciate everything they did to make Mother's Day special! 💕

Mother's Day Tea
Yesterday, Abigail's preschool hosted the most wonderful Mother's Day Tea. Abigail and I had been looking forward to it for weeks! Abigail was super excited to show me all of the fun surprises she had been working on for so long!! To say it was one of the best days is an understatement. It was just such a special time to spend just the two of us.
Before Abigail's class entered the church, the preschool director read all of the moms a story about how wishing to hold onto these moments with your children for longer. There was not a dry eye in the house! While all of the moms were wiping their tears, Abigail's class put on the most adorable performance. It was SOOO cute!!! Then all of the kids brought their moms a tray of food (to mimic breakfast in bed😍) and "fancy" pink lemonade. Abigail stayed so close to me as we shared our special plate of goodies. Afterwards, Abigail gave me several presents that she made. Gifts that I will cherish forever💕 On one gift, I was laughing so hard I was crying. Love to hear the thoughts of a child!
This was such a special Mother's Day present. I will always remember this day. Goodness I wish we could slow down time!!!😢

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our babies, Nana and Geed!! The kiddos had so much fun building such wonderful memories💓
