We just got back from our annual grandparents vacation and we had a blast!! We look forward to this trip every year. There is nothing we enjoy more then spending time as a family. We are so very blessed to be able to have this special time together. Lots of cherished memories were made.
This year we went to Isle of Palms, which is about 20 minutes outside of Charleston. We were so lucky to have found a house right on the beach! It certainly is nice to be able to go to the beach in the off season!!
Colin, Abigail, Colby and I decided at the last minute (very last minute!!) to fly to Charleston instead of drive. Colby does not do so well in the car so we knew the drive would be tough on our little guy. This was the first flight for for both kids! We definitely made the right choice! The flight was a breeze and the kiddos did excellent!!

The weather for the week did not look so promising. It called for rain almost the entire day every day that we were down there. Thankfully the weather man was wrong and the rain held off until the late evening every day except for one day!!
We spent lots and lots of time on the beach!! Colby was not the biggest fan of the beach at the beginning of the week, but he warmed up to it towards the end. Abigail could not get enough of the beach! She was loving every second! Abigail is so comfortable around the water now. The swim lessons are certainly paying off!
