Our baby boy is 6 months old!! A half of a year already!! What?!? So hard to believe!!
At 6 months, Colby weighs almost 17lbs (38th percentile) and is 25.5" inches tall (we go on the 24th for a wellness check). His noggin clocks in at 17.5" (80th percentile). Our Colby Colbs is in 6 month clothes and size 3 diapers. At 6 months, our sweet Abigail weighed 13lbs 10oz (12th percentile) and was 25" tall (17th percentile) and her beautiful noggin was in the 79th percentile:-)

Colby is just the sweetest little boy. He has the best personality. It just melts our heart whenever he looks at us and smiles. His eyes and that dimple....this little boy is just too much!! And his laugh....cannot even take it!! So in love with our little Colby Colbs<3
Abigail is one of Colby's favorite people ever! She doesn't even have to do anything. She just walks into a room and he smiles. Colby finds her completely hilarious, which is just the cutest! Abigail can do just the littlest thing and he'll start laughing hysterically!
Colby started sitting up about 2 weeks ago! To be honest, we weren't sure if it was going to be able to cross that milestone off of the list! Big noggin+big belly=very difficult to sit up :-) It is hilarious how he'll just be sitting up and then topple over without changing expressions almost as if he didn't even notice! Haha!
Colby is very handsy. He will reach for and grab anything and everything within his reach. Hair totally up in a bun??? No problem! He'll just grab the bottom section!! Don't put anything in front of him that you don't want in his mouth!! Abigail never really put anything in her mouth so this is new for us (probably because she had that binkers permanently implanted!!)! Colby is all about his thumb, especially when he's tired. It is seriously the cutest thing ever!!
Whenever I feed Colby, he loves to put his hands all over my face, especially my mouth. He loves for me to pretend to bite his fingers. If his hands aren't on my face, they are grabbing my shirt, my neck....you name it. We don't call him handsy for nothing:-) Haha!
Thankfully take 2 of solid foods went great! Colby devoured the apples! We just tried sweet potatoes. Colby takes after Uncle Jay and I and loves them! Mmmmm:-) We just tried peas. He ate them, but we don't think it was his favorite!
We are happy to report that we are all finally getting some sleep!! It is not perfect by any means and we definitely have some rough nights here and there, but those are becoming less and less. He mainly just gets upset if he wedges himself in a corner. Colby is a big tummy sleeper. As much as we try to encourage the back, he always ends up on his tummy! Colby is a wild sleeper just like his sister and moves all over the crib! Start him at one end and he'll end up at the other in a matter of minutes!
Words cannot say how much we love our little boy. You are so precious to us, Colbykins!! Happy 6 months, baby boy!! We love you so so so much!! xoxo
A few weeks ago Colby got his first tooth! His second tooth came a few days later! Honestly, it's not my favorite milestone. Those little chompers hurt!!
